Est. 1887 — Members & Invited Guests
Where every stay is remembered.
Hotel Genovie has received its guests with quiet distinction for over a century. Our staff attend to every detail. Our rooms do not grow cold. Our guests are, in our experience, never forgotten.
We do not advertise. We do not court recognition. Those who find us generally find us at the right moment.

"I arrived in October. The staff remembered my name before I had given it. I cannot explain this, and I have not tried to."
— R.W., former guest
"My family has been guests of Hotel Genovie for three generations. There is no other place quite like it. I mean this sincerely."
— E.M., long-standing guest
"I came for a weekend. The weekend was not what I expected. I have not been able to adequately describe it to anyone who was not present."
— T.A., verified guest
"The service is extraordinary. I left feeling that the hotel knew me better than I know myself. Whether this is a comfort is a matter I continue to consider."
— Anonymous, by request
Hotel Genovie has, on several occasions, declined recognition from regional hospitality organisations. The hotel's distinction is its own. Those who belong here find it. Those who do not are, in our experience, misdirected before arrival.
We do not maintain a waiting list in the conventional sense. Inquiries are reviewed by Management and responded to in due course.
